What time will my session take place?
All of my sessions take place at golden hour. Golden hour is approx. 50 minutes before sunset.
The lighting is more flattering and softer optimizing photo quality.
Timing for golden hour varies throughout the year.
During fall season, the typical time is 4pm.

HIGHLY SUGGESTED COLOR PALLETE
I love editing earth tones and mixing in warm or neutral tones. These colors will give your photos a full pop of colors.
CLOTHING TIPS
Here are suggestions for what to wear for the photo shoot day. For the Traditional and longer lasting photo, these photos will hang on your walls and treasured for years to come. By choosing simple, classic clothes you will help give your images a timeless feel. (if you can…no clothing with name brands or names on them) Keep in mind color scheme and harmony. Limit patterns. Patterns can become distracting. Accessories are helpful –hats, scarves, vests, jackets, flower hair bands etc. Layers and Textures –different clothing materials and accents-crochet, embroidery details, lace, hand knit items, smocking, ribbons, ruffles, etc.
Helpful tip: give extra attention to hair, nails, make-up, etc. for optimal image quality.
HEAD & SHOULDERS
Typically, this shot is used for your yearbook photo. Having a professional photograph can come in handy for applications and scholarships. V-neck shirts make your face look slim, turtleneck sweaters tend to make your face look fuller. Solid clothing tends to look better than patterns.
